DHL Supply Chain India has leased 2.4 lakh square feet of warehouse space at Ekarajapura in Hoskote, expanding its presence in eastern Bengaluru’s logistics corridor.
Property-registration information cited by real-estate data provider CRE Matrix indicates a five-year lease with Saviraj Logistics and an estimated rental commitment of Rs 37.03 crore. The initial monthly rent is Rs 56.4 lakh, or Rs 23.50 per square foot, and the security deposit is Rs 2.25 crore.
The agreement was registered on July 10 and took effect on August 1. Rental payments begin on November 1 after a three-month rent-free period, while the contract includes a three-year lock-in and annual escalation of 4.5 per cent.
Hoskote offers access to manufacturing, consumption and distribution markets through Bengaluru’s eastern road network and has attracted demand for large-format warehousing outside the urban core.
The long lease indicates continuing occupier demand, but Hoskote’s development as a durable logistics hub will also depend on road capacity, freight movement, utilities, workforce access and the timely creation of supporting industrial infrastructure.
